Chamberlain Bridge
The Chamberlain Bridge, built in 1872, was constructed to provide a path across the Careenage. It was designed to allow small vessels into the 'inner basin' and was originally intended to be operated by two men who would turn a shaft that would open the bridge for incoming crafts. |
